Emi Lawson joins Cleveland Krist

In January 2023, Emi Lawson joined Cleveland Krist as an Associate. Prior to joining Cleveland Krist, Ms. Lawson worked for Susman Godfrey in Houston and served as a judicial clerk to Judge Alia Moses of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

Ms. Lawson graduated from Columbia Law School, where she served as Production Editor for the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law and as a judicial intern to Judge Daniel R. Dominguez of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. She also holds an LL.M. in International Taxation from the London School of Economics. Emi received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was captain of the women’s soccer team and earned National Scholar All-American and All Pac-12 First Team honors.
