On December 1, Cleveland Krist obtained a jury verdict in favor of their client, a physician who had been sued by her former business partners in Williamson County District Court for breach of fiduciary duty, business disparagement, defamation, and negligence. The jury rejected those claims and instead found in favor of Cleveland Krist’s client on counterclaims for breach of contract related to funding for numerous emergency rooms and hospitals in Central Texas. Tim Cleveland and Austin Krist served as co-lead counsel over the four-day jury trial.
